MusicChoice admits Jesus wasn’t born in December

My mom has been leaving the TV in the dining room on channel 533 lately which is the MusicChoice channel that plays Christmas songs all day. Christmas trivia facts appear on the scree as the music plays. A minute ago the trivia fact was, “December 25 was chosen as the date to celebrate Christmas to coincide with other winter festivals.” So even they admit Jesus wasn’t born on Dec. 25. If I see it again I’ll try to get a picture and post it.

War on Christmas?  Well that isn’t very Christian of you.

Happy Holidays everybody!

The Muppets perform “Ringing of the Bells”

Every time the song “Christmas Shoes” by New Song come on the radio my mom gets pissed off because it’s the worst Christmas song ever. I discovered this video last year, it’s the brilliant Patton Oswalt picking apart the song for it’s ridiculousness. Enjoy!

That should be familiar to many Blink 182 fans as “Happy Holidays, You Bastard.

I remember the first time I heard this like 10 years ago.  It was great then and it’s great now.

While he may have meant Jim Belushi, Jim Fallon says goodnight in Bill Murray’s Killer Bee costume with Chris Kattan, Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, Jude Law, Bill Hader, Tina Fey, Seth Meyer’s forehead, Michael Buble, Amy Poehler, Bobby Moynihan, (a good looking) Horatio Sanz and Abby Elliott.
[Also, if you watch the whole clip, you can see Will Arnett skating in the background.]

I mean, how badly would you have wanted to be out on that ice?

That is JOHN Belushi’s iconic bee costume, not Bill Murray’s and not Jim Belushi’s.  I am disappointed that Jimmy got that wrong and even more disappointed that someone would call John Belushi with his much less funny brother.  [I take SNL history very seriously]
Fun fact: The most iconic appearance of the bee costume came in episode 10 of the first season of SNL with a performance of The Blues Bees, who later became the Blues Brothers, singing “King Bee”.
